  18. I need to send a BREAK signal as part of my login and
  19. the only way I know of to do this is with Kermit.
  20. The problem I'm running into now is that I can't call
  21. ckermit as my slip.exe -connect option, nor can I
  22. execute slip.exe from ckermit.  Each time, I run into
  23. a problem with both programs wanting complete control
  24. of the port.

  26. Is there a way to get either program to share the
  27. port?  Ideally, I would get slip to look like an
  28. external protocol, but at this point I'd be happy
  29. with kermit acting as a slip dialer.
